Alex Caballero Participates in Judge Christopher Brown’s Investiture

Sessums Black Managing Partner Alex Caballero was honored to be a part of last week’s Investiture of Thirteenth Circuit County Court Judge Christopher E. Brown. As Immediate Past President of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, Alex spoke during the event and presented Judge Brown his robe. Current HCBA President Anthony Martino was out of town and unable to attend.
Governor Ron DeSantis appointed Brown to the bench earlier this year. Brown had served as Senior Legal Counsel for the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office since 2006. Previously, he was an Assistant Statewide Prosecutor for the City of Tampa. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Idaho and his juris doctor from Syracuse University. Brown fills the judicial vacancy created by the elevation of Michael J. Hooi. Judge Brown and Alex worked together in 1993 when Brown was an assistant public defender and Alex was an assistant state attorney.
