Since earning her Juris Doctor degree in 2002 from Stetson University College of Law summa cum laude (class rank #1) with a Certificate of Concentration in Advocacy, Jennifer has held numerous positions, including leadership positions, in various local legal organizations.
In her pursuit of legal excellence, Jennifer has served on, and chaired, a Florida Bar Grievance Committee in the Sixth and Thirteenth Judicial Circuits and has taught numerous legal skills and family law-related courses at Stetson University College of Law as an adjunct professor. In 2013, Jennifer was selected by the then-Florida Bar President to participate as a Fellow in the inaugural William Reese Smith, Jr. Leadership Academy.
In Pinellas County, Jennifer is a dedicated member of the Clearwater Bar Association (CBA). She served a three-year term as secretary of the CBA Board of Directors. In addition to serving as chair of the Professionalism Symposium on behalf of the CBA for two years, Jennifer has chaired the CBA Oyster Roast Committee and the Continuing Legal Education Committee. In 2011, Chief Judge J. Thomas McGrady appointed Jennifer to the Pinellas County Law Library Board of Directors on which she continues to serve.
In Hillsborough County, Jennifer is a committed member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association (HCBA) and the Family Law Section of the HCBA where she has presented a program to the Section on ethics and professionalism.
While an accomplished litigator, Jennifer is also trained in Interdisciplinary Collaborative Law and is now an active member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals and the Tampa Bay Collaborative Divorce Group.
