Alimony reform advocates retooling legislation
Multiple attempts have been made over the past few years to revise Florida’s alimony laws. Florida’s house and senate passed a bill last session that would have, among other things, modified existing alimony laws; however, the governor ultimately vetoed the bill. Advocates for alimony reform are already working on proposed legislation for the upcoming legislative session.
